Just another irritating telemarketing cold call. The caller did not know what to push on me - it was either continuing education, or a new computer. I'n on the DNC - but that doesn't seem to slow them down - anyone post a link on how to report them?
In order to Report a Company when you are listed on the Do Not Call List, you must be able to Report 1) The Name of the Company; 2) The Address of the Company as well as 3) The phone # they are callign you from. Companies count on this information being Difficult, if not nearly impossible for Consumers to obtain, thus making it unlikely that Complaints will be filed/ fines leveraged against them!
I get 2 or 3 calls a day from this number and I strongly believe it's related to a freebie magazine subscription that I subscribed to online. This number and 2 other callers began coming to me (in the same frequency) on the same day after I signed up and every day since (for about a week now as of 9-4-09). One of the other calls is marked UNKNOWN, the other is ID as Yonkers NY 914-339-5531. Very annoying!
