Ijusr got a call from that number. I didnt pick up because it is my business line and I was on another call with a client. I did get a voice mail message but it was just music. very odd
this number from 2015209532 has called my personal home number a total of 17 times in the past six days. According to the Fair Debt Collection Act, section 806(5) it prohibits contacting the consumer by telephone "Repeatedly or continuously with intent to annoy, abuse, or harass any person at the called number." Continuously means making a series of phone calls, one right after the other. For Example Sat. July 10th, calls at 10:50am, 12:22pm, 2:01pm and 2:55pm. Enough is enough. I will contact the State Attorney General and the FCC, and my lawyer. But when I tried to call this number back to complain, voice message states call CANNOT be connected. A company that cannot even be reached in my opinion is very shady. Its companies like this that harass people every day, get away with it, and nothing is done...but hey, that's America.
This is a company that calls in regard to a Visa account that the company(Aspire Visa)could no longer operate(got a letter from them stating their apologies in not having the account available - [***]!)and still continue to call me considering my financial woes(was able to make my minimum payments to them to pay down the debt accumulated on the credit card but since I am now unemployed at present can only pay the 51.00 minimum as before to them). I do hope I get an invoice from Aspire that will show me what is owed and will continue to pay my amount(although it's small)to them and want the annoying phone calls to stop! I know I have a debt to pay but will make an attempt nonetheless.
They keep calling my cell every freakin day of the week(including Saturday and Sunday!). They are with card services in regards to a visa card account that has been closed and still trying to make payments(though I know that the minimum amount keeps the debt even deeper - ugh.)to them every month considering that I am unemployed at present and hope to find a job and get my finances in order - just got to at this point! The calls have got to stop and I know who these idiots are per the caller ID posted - PLEASE!
