Robot call said it was a medication alert to warn against pain medication provided by Blue Cross/Blue Shield. There was an option to press 5 to refuse shipment... FTC always said never to bother pressing buttons when these callers say to because it only tells them that it's a valid number to keep calling
SCAM--The recorded message goes: "Don't hang up, this is an important message going out to all Horizon BC BS members..." And goes on to say things that basically infer that they are CALLING from your insurance company, that there is news or concerns about replacing opiod pain medicine with a non opiodal option. They say something about a patch and to hit buttons to get yours shipped and paid for, key words: YOUR INSURANCE COMPANY which lets you know they are not your insurance company.
Called again today, this is the third call I have received from this number.
I took TRS advice and called BCBS in NJ it's Horizon BCBS.
