Scam Alert!!!
From the Blue Cross / Blue Shield website:
" Members may receive unsolicited phone calls from a company offering pain cream that they state is covered by their Blue Cross Blue Shield Plan. This is a scam and members are advised to not respond in any way or give out any personal information in response to these calls."
Total scam targeting mostly seniors about a medical device ordered for them. They are looking to get your insurance and pers info so they can rob you. Do not answer and block this scam!!!!
I gave them personal information on me and my husband. Felt it was real, because I received a call from blue cross blue shield concerning my asthma. What could they do with my medical info, address, and member id, and prescription id?
