After reading CG post regarding "Allstate Merchant Services"
I found the following info on a >(KEY WORD is TELEMARKETING)
telemarketing company in NJ/NYC region. I called them.
(Details-below)
While we can't be certain this is THE company calling us -
we can call and ask to be removed from their calling list -
saying
"I traced these calls back to your company as the likely one making these calls - if my number is on your call list - please remove it!"

I talked to an agent on 11/20/07 10:30am and explained I had just taken a HUGE amount of time to call FTC at 877-382-4357 to register a complaint (I did do so) and
I also explained that I was recording the call as we spoke. I provided my phone number - DEMANDED Politely to be removed from their Call List. Also explained I am on National DO NOT CALL LIST and felt they are well aware of fines that can be applied in their situation. Promised I would Not let up ... if I receive even ONE more call!
All on this thread can do as you wish with above info - I am glad I made the effort for all our sake! Be Well.
PS - In my call I did say - if they were not the offending party, my apology was offered. If they are than Remove my number.
It does take a HUGE amount of time to call FTC at 877-382-4357 to register a complaint. I was told MORE complaints Must come in to that number in order for the FTC to take action against the offending callers. So I ask anyone reading this to call and go thru the HELL to get thru to a REAL LIVE Operator --- Good Luck - Lets STOP These Jerks!
