I got a call this morning from a very heavy accented male saying he was from AT&T and needed to verify my account (didn't make sense). Then he said he needed my password. DO NOT, UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES, give our your info. AT&T would never call asking for your password. This is a hacker. PLEASE BE CAREFUL. I told him he wasn't AT&T and hung up on him.
they left a message on my cell phone saying that they were from at&t calling in reference to a problem with my service and that they have been trying to reach me unsuccessfully and that i need to call them asap to resolve the issue. funny thing is we don't have any services through them. i could hardly understand the message because of her thick indian accent. the number she told me to call back is not even the number in my caller id.
Person texted me saying they sent my uverse equipment, but I didn't order and its not even available in my area. Then I called AT&T and they had no record of it. I got another phone call from this number asking if I had ordered uverse.
