I got a call this morning from a very heavy accented male saying he was from AT&T and needed to verify my account (didn't make sense). Then he said he needed my password. DO NOT, UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES, give our your info. AT&T would never call asking for your password. This is a hacker. PLEASE BE CAREFUL. I told him he wasn't AT&T and hung up on him.
Received a phone call from 201 617-9029 asking for my AT&T U-Verse Account 4-digit pass code. The caller had a very heavy accent and he could not provide a clear answer as to why he was calling. I informed him it is not proper business practice to call a customer and ask for their info and it is a clear indicator they are trying to scam you. Basically told him to take a hike and when I called AT&T's actual customer service they informed me that it is not one of their lines and do not provide them any info. Rather frustrating as I just signed up for U-Verse and within 24 hours someone is trying to hack the account and scam me.
1-201-617-9029 Called me, two times, w/in a few minutes. My phone indicated there were two voice mails left, but there was only silence! I'm worried, they called back, just to get my name! I'm tired of being stalked by scam artists!! I'd like to know, how (who) I can report, & warn about this phone number!!

Courtesy call from ATT following up on a U-Verse no-service issue that I called in a couple of days ago. Said they have tested my connection lines and found everything functional. This is true as it resumed working again two days ago while I had ATT support on the phone.
