I have good news for ya all,I found out that their carrier was Vonage so I filed a police report and as of 5/29 Vonage pulled the plug on these a-holes. I'am still serching for their name as Vonage is reluctant to give it to me I plan on sueing them and because they may start again when they get a new provider so beware. I'll keep ya posted and as for Attorny Generals office and the FCC don't waste your time, they stink. Peace Tony Romano.
I answered the phone today and have found out who these people are!!!! When I picked up the phone, I could not understand the woman with a thick accent and asked her to put someone else on the line. She did. A very polite gentleman (with less of an accent) said that I had responded online to something about weight loss called "Colon Snait" (not sure of the second word; I asked if they were saying "s-n-a-i-t" and I was told "yes", but their English seemed limited). Anyway, I told him I am not interested in any such product and do not know how they got my phone number and name. I also told him to take me off the list immediately or I would report them to the "Do Not Call Registry" since I am on the Do Not Call List. He said, "No problem" and I hung up. I hope this solves the problem. If not, I will report them. Therefore, they have a list generated from online responses regarding weight loss. ***Today's call came from 201-621-5697 and said New Jersey Call on my caller ID, so I would think it is the same company that is calling from 201-621-5694***
I've been getting at least 6 calls a day over the last few days, all times day and night. It also jammed up my phone so badly yesterday, I couldn't call in or out or operate unless I shut it down. I've registered with www.donotcall.gov which has not impacted the calls at all. I contacted the local police who traced information to XO comunications in NJ 703-547-2000/888-575-6398. The company's Network Investigations team told me today that a Reseller of this company is investigating as the number was apparently hacked or something, but the Reseller is not the one making the calls. The investigator told me my only options are to change my phone number (can't)or to keep a close watch on my phone bills as this person could be using our phones to make international calls.
