I got a call from this number on tuesday during my lunch hour and nobody answered. I recieved calls from this number again on wednesday and thursday, but did not answer because I was in classes. This number called me again today 1/25 @ 4:53 and when I answered and said hello repeatedly, there was no reply. I would like to find you is calling because it's really starting to freak me out.
They call me all the time too.. I'm in BC and trying to get ahold of the Better Business Bureau of Canada to put a stop to this. I actually worked at a call center once, and regardless of whether or not a phone number is on the Do Not Call registry or not, as soon as they ask to be removed from your call list, if the company calls back it is the exact same consequence.
They always call me asking for Russell, and at first I said you have the wrong number, but then they asked who I was. I told them it didn't matter who I was, they had the wrong number and to remove my phone # from their call list. Since then they have called me 6 times (all within 3 weeks). Today I finally asked what their company was, and "Angel" told me she was calling on behalf of Mega Typing.. and that their customer service # was 1-888-611-4638
They called me saying they had a free internet data entry kit for me and all I had to do is pay for the s&h. They wanted a credit card number. I told them I would not give them a credit card number. I told them if they want to ship it to me I would pay for it when it arrives. They insisted I give them a credit or debit card number. I told them I am not going to pay for anything without checking them out first. I checked the internet and here is a string of stuff about this place. Oh no not another suspicious company.
201-621-5696 calls at least 10 times a day. DO NOT CALL THIS # BACK THIS # WILL RUN UP YOUR PHONE BILL INTO THE THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS. I was told by Sprint customer service to file a complaint with the police department, maybe if all of us did that something would be done about the problem.
