I got a call from this number on tuesday during my lunch hour and nobody answered. I recieved calls from this number again on wednesday and thursday, but did not answer because I was in classes. This number called me again today 1/25 @ 4:53 and when I answered and said hello repeatedly, there was no reply. I would like to find you is calling because it's really starting to freak me out.
i had my kid scream in the phone and hung up they still called back, it stopped for about a week and started up again even though husband put my cell number on the do not call list tomorrow i'm calling the better business people, this has to stop 40 calls a day and no messages this is aoyonning.
called Vonage. Customer Service advised there was nothing they could do. Nice! How is this legal? The customer service agent gave me a number that allowed me to get to corporate and advised me to speak with the legal department. Sent to voicemail. Left a message. I think I'm ready to shoot myself! The harasser's called while I was on the phone with the customer service agent - Classic!
And this doesn't have anything to do with them looking for a specific person. They are totally just picking a name out of the hat if they choose to speak to you because they always still have something to sell you. You would think they would pick up on the fact that they are wasting resources by not speaking on the 99.9% of the calls where their autodialer actually reaches a live person. Pure stupidity. Somebody please stop the madness!
The vonage guy didn't even ask for the number. That just goes to show they aren't going to be able to do anything about it. Makes me wonder what kind of legal rights a customer must have that there is nothing that a service provider can do. Surely there is a tipping point somewhere.
I have received a phone call from this number several times in the past 3-4 days, the latest of which was at 11 p.m.! I have also done some grant research online, but never gave my # out...I want the calls to stop!
