I got a call from this number on tuesday during my lunch hour and nobody answered. I recieved calls from this number again on wednesday and thursday, but did not answer because I was in classes. This number called me again today 1/25 @ 4:53 and when I answered and said hello repeatedly, there was no reply. I would like to find you is calling because it's really starting to freak me out.
I seem to be on the low end of the spectrum here, only(!) 14 calls in the past two days.
My mother got a pre-paid Verizon cellphone on Sep26. The calls didn't start until yesterday(Oct6) at 8:15 a.m.

We haven't been looking at grants or anything. I don't even know the number for her cellphone and she doesn't know how to use computers, so I know we haven't submitted it to anyone. All I can think of is maybe the person who last had this number might of been looking at grants?
I guess all we can do for now is keep filing FCC complaints.
I have been receiving these calls for months. There is no message left either. I finally answered the call and asked questions finding out it was about a web site called austionsizzleII.com. I was conned into signing up for it but my credit card would not clear so I told them to stop and not try again. Since then I have been charged for the web site. When I tried to looked it up there is no such thing. I want my money I lost back and for them to stop stealing my hard earned money now!!!!!!!
thay call multiple times a day, have called from that number and 5695 is a nj number, do not know much more that that, have reported each incident to the do not call site
This company is using a newish and efficient call center dialing system. While they are on the phone with a potential client, the dialer calls the next number on the list to save the time. I did check into federal grants and they claim to send out the package to apply. All they ask for is the cost of the shipping. If I don't get the forms and/or once I do, I will add another note. You don't have to have looked into a grant as they have they have outbound potential prospects for grants of all types. I am looking for an educational MBA grant for school. I know that there is a ton of money set aside for educations left unused as know one knows how to get it. They also have grants for minorities, retraining, opening small business, etc. So, if I don't get my packet and it is fraudulant, I will advise. I am also protected by my credit card against fraud. No ss# or anything personal. Plus, I never dialed the number back for fear of a scam I just happened to hang on and a person answered in a reasonable amount of time. Thus far, it appears to be legit as I know call center technology. There are the easy alls - people inquired about a grant and a cold call list. So, they may not have the technology to remove you from the list but if you applied for a job and accidently clicked on the button that asked if you are interested in furthering your education, or ordered something online line whereby they, in fine print, you click a button whereby they can sell or give your info out to other companies that they are associated with, which is easy to do, that is why you are getting the calls and it is legal. I will keep you posted. CAM
You are wrong. They are a collection agency trying to track you down. I know this because ever since I started owing money to credit card people, months later I am getting new numbers calling me all of the time. So, for the most part, a high percentage of people getting called by these numbers are being tracked by collection agencies becuase you owe money to someone.
