I got a call from this number on tuesday during my lunch hour and nobody answered. I recieved calls from this number again on wednesday and thursday, but did not answer because I was in classes. This number called me again today 1/25 @ 4:53 and when I answered and said hello repeatedly, there was no reply. I would like to find you is calling because it's really starting to freak me out.
201-621-5696 is a telemarketer calling for STORES ONLINE !!!
The caller ID indicates calls originate from Hackensack, NJ.
However, the location has yet to be determined. The FCC has rules prohibiting 'Abandoned Calls' or 'War Dailing' tactics being used by the '201-621-5696 telemarketer'. I suggest requesting FCC form 1088D and file a complaint so the FCC can determine whether a violation has occurred that could lead to an enforcement action.
This is not Stores Online. Stores Online runs out of Salt Lake City, UT, not Hackensack, NJ. Also, Stores Online does not utilize telemarketers. My wife and I are current customers of Stores Online, and ever since signing up for the service, we have not once been contacted by someone purporting to be a telemarketer for Stores Online.
Make sure you have your information correct before you start flinging around accusations.
I too am having the same problem. Fortunately I was told to call the chief of police in that area code. His number is 201-330-2042.That is what I am doing. I think if the chief got bombarded with calls from as many of us as can get this message, maybe they would be more inclined to help us. PASS IT ON.
I'M TO HAVING SAME PROBLEM GOT HARASSMENT CALL FROM THOSE IDIOT PEOPLE 10-13 TIME A DAY THE # 201 - 621 - 5696. AND I DID FOLLOW WHAT YOU SAID, I CALLED THE POLICE IN THE SAME AREA CODE BUT THEY TOLD ME THE CAN'T DO NOTING, THEY TOLD ME TO CALL MY LOCAL POLICE DEPT TO MAKE REPORT CALLED MY LOCAL POLICE DEPT. BUT I GOT THE SAME ANSWER THEY CAN'T DO NOTHING ABOUT IT THEY GIVE ME ADVISE TO CALL MY PHONE COMPANY THEN I CALLED MY PHONE CARRIER COMPANY SAID I SHOULD BUY NEW PHONE THE ONE HAS THE BLOCKING PROGRAM OR I NEED TO CHANGE MY PHONE NUMBER. GUYS THIS IS MAKE ME MORE PISSED!!!!!! WHY THOSE HARASSER DID NOT GET PUNISH?, WHY I HAVE TO BUY NEW PHONE OR CHANGE MY NUMBER? WE NEED TO DO SOMETHING ABOUT THIS.
