Ok, phone company wants me to change my phone number....oh wait...we can contact our local authorities....to stop someone 2000 miles away?!? I can't believe this....How many people need to post here because the people we pay to provide us a hassle free service, won't meet up to their end of the bargain? The number is from New Jersey. Apparently, they sell grants, Myomed, consulting service....get the freakin picture...it is TELEMARKETING...So much for the DO NOT CALL list....
Got a call from this number, Free Federal Grant Information, but have to pay for shipping and handling with a credit card. I told them I didn't have one and I was told that they will call back, I am in the 985 area code.
I have received two calls to my cell phone (my only phone) from 2016215850 and three from another New Jersey number 2012660022 in the last two days, alternating. I expect that one of the lists that I or the previous person with this number had put the number on by signing up for or ordering something was sold. Very annoying, but at least I can check the number on my phone and not answer. Does anyone know if cell phones can be added to the Do Not Call registry?
