Did not answer due to lack of info. given to my caller ID.
Then called them back and got message that "the number you have called is not in service @ this time..."
Another call about "your credit card" without ever specifying which card. Same message, different numbers weekly. I am on do not call lists and still get these. When I have pressed 1 to speak to someone in the past and asked to be taken off the list, I get hangups or rudeness.
Nothing new, the same stuff as usual, an "unknown" caller calling at any hour they feel the need to and not leaving a message. Tired of the scamming calls.
This number has been hitting my cell phone and when it rolls to voice mail it's a partial message. Today I decided to answer. The automated attendant said to hit "2" to speak with a representative to lower my credit card interest rates or "3" to stop further attempts to reach me. I decided to get someone on the phone. When the lady answered the phone she said, "You responded because you want to lower your credit card interest rates, right?" I asked what company that she is with and she said it was Associated Card Services which offers help in lowering high credit card interest rates (of which I have none). So, I asked how she got my number, particularly since I'm on the national Do Not Call Registry. She hung up on me. This is clearly a scam of some sort. Can you imagine if someone gave them their card information to lower interest rates? I just get the feeling that they would keep a ligh interest rate and find some new interesting charges. They need to be shut down and prosecuted.
I also keep getting the calls from 201-632-2362 about lowering my credit card payments, well this time i pressed the #1 to talk to someone and all i got was cussed at from them before they hungup on me
