THat is exactly the messages I am getting on my voicemail. But then they are now calling my in-laws! (Who are NOT happy and have reached out to an attorney).
I also recieved a call from these people. They left a voicemail whcih was an automated voice, not real stating that I needed to call this number 201-639-0158 and that this was my last notification that I was being warned and that I can get my local county documents that are needed. The automated message was very vague. So I called the number back and it rang and rang, no one ever picked up and it said that the cell number I called in not available. Then I called the actual number that called me whcih was a 919-913-0805 number. I live in NC, so I guess theey have the numbers rigged to whomever they call by the area code you live in.........anyway when I called the 919 # it turns out it's a Chapel Hill # and NO answer, no voicemail, nothing. This is a scam and I will block the numbers. If courts or legal was involved, then believe me someone from your state government would be in touch. MY best advice is to contact your local Attorneys General office and file a complaint against theses morons.
These people called my landline (a number I don't even know by heart and have NEVER given anyone), calling for my husband's ex-wife. They left a message asking for her by her maiden name. So, unless she's been fraudulently using that name (and I wouldn't put it past her), this is definitely a scam.
I received the a message stating that (unidentified) was calling in regards to a formal complaint that's in the process of being filed this morning about several different matters. Said they were calling to verify that the had the correct address and the next step would be filing through my local county. I do have the right to contact in the information center should i wish to exercise my rights. Gave me a call back number of 207-618-8728.
"National information center Terry answers.. snotty and nasty.. FBI report has been completed as well as police report.. also number that they answer until they clone another number is 530 364-4560, she says you are being charged with check fraud and a whole bunch of other nonsense.. i'm guessing they don't know that check fraud is when you intentionally write a bad check.
These people called my sister looking for me but never called me! I called back the number she gave me and the person told me i have to pay today by 3pm or be in contempt of court. So i asked for the docket number from the court and she could not supply it for me said its in process. i looked up the place they said i had the loan with, which by the way i have never taken out a loan until recently and it's wasn't with the company they said, and it doesn't exist this whole thing has me so annoyed.
