I got a call from this number on Christmas Eve saying that he was from Microsoft and that my computer was sending their server messages that my computer was infected. He told me that he could help me fix it. I told him I was not at home and I would call him. He attempted to call again but I did not answer. He called me today again saying the same thing. I did some research and found that Microsoft rarely would call and say there was a problem with your computer and that calls like these were scams. Then googled the number and found these comments.
The person said they were from windows and said that my computer was sending errors. He said he can walk me through how to remove any spyware or virus's. He then basically tried to let me give him remote access to my computer. I built my computer so I know a little stuff, so when he had me hit the windows button along with r, I stopped following directions but played like I did. Hacker and scammer. False representation for Microsoft.
