SCAM ALERT!

I received the exact same scam email from Kate Herric.  <[email protected]>

Saying that she/he paid me for my item and also $365 for shipping.  I was to send money ($365) to the courier company and then my paypal account would be credited for the items i was selling ........... really, b.s.  Sure, I'm gonna send money to someone that you "apparently sent" me ........... hmmmmmm

email below.

"Hi, I am kate heric. I'm satisfied with the price and i really want to buy it. I would have love to come for the viewing by the weekend, but My place is way too far from there in which i am located in London Ontario. So i thought of how to make this transaction work between us, which i came to conclusion with my husband to use a courier company to pick up the item from your place but we will send the money to your account first and after you get the money in your account, the pick up company will come to help us carry it. then we can go ahead with the transaction and will send the money to you without delay.... Lest i forget, i would be transferring the funds to you through PayPal. Please reply with your opinion ASAP Thanks.

i juste got the same offert for my item i posted on kijiji and the wanted me to ship it whit a company called lane courier service the courier is real but the dont ship any were to canada just in indiana and i got 3 email posing to be paypal and that this was all normal i contacted paypal and this email adresse was a spoof  dont send them any money

This person called me from that same number wanting to buy something of mine from kijiji. She was pressuring me into paying the very expensive shipping fees, she kept emailing me and calling me. I hope everyone reads this and realizes that she is a scam!!!! Anyone who wants you to pay the shipping fees before they give you the money or even claim that the money has already been sent to you, is a scam!!!

got the same today for the kijiji furniture. call was  from 719(colorado) but she said she was london,on

so i asked for a phone number and shiping adress and no reply from her since then...

so this total BS. dont reply to them

Got it too from 'kate heric'. The message is literally a copy and paste! Started SMS by saying 'item' instead of computer, then the whole thing by e-mail, word for word. DUMB!
