Who called from 2016880745

i posted this morning an ad on kijiji selling a table set with 4 chairs for $390.00 and i immediatelly received a SMS from 5144371215 asking me "Hi, what is your asking price, then where are you located ?" to which i was surprised because my asking price was clearly stated on the kijiji ad. she wanted a reply by email at   [email protected] which sucks cause i wanted to speak to her directly. Then she (claiming to be "Kate") was saying that she cannot come to see the table because she lives in London, Ontario and was asking me to give my Paypal info as she was interested to purchase the table. I then asked for a cash or bank draft so she sent me a messege stating that Paying by Paypal is the most secure way of internet payments, i then EXPRESSLY stated AGAIN that i will NOT do business with Paypal on kijiji so she COPY/PASTE the EXACT messege that she sent me just before that Paying by Paypal is the most secure way of internet ?! so i started to question if this is a scam and there are NO more responses from this so called "Kate" !!! its DEFINITELY some kind of a scam on the naive and innocent, they whoever they are should be stopped !!!

Beware kijiji scammer

I had the same message today after posting my add on Kijiji :

Hi, I am kate heric. I'm satisfied with the price and i really want to buy it. I would have love to come for the viewing by the weekend, but My place is way too far from there in which i am located in London Ontario. So i thought of how to make this transaction work between us, which i came to conclusion with my husband to use a courier company to pick up the item from your place but we will send the money to your account first and after you get the money in your account, the pick up company will come to help us carry it. Since i'd not be seeing the item before i purchase it, i would like you to send some recent pictures of its present state to be sure you still have it and its in good condition. If the pictures pleases me, then we can go ahead with the transaction and will send the money to you without delay.... Lest i forget, i would be transferring the funds to you through PayPal. Please reply with your opinion ASAP Thanks.
kate..

I thought it was strange and after searches i found this conversation.
So the phone number used by this person today was 514-416-9521

BEWARE, Kijiji scammer

After reading some of the message people got from their adds they place on Kijiji, here is my story
I received a text message from 514-437-0313 the person goes under the name Kate Heric. This person saw my add on Kijiji and said that she was satsifed with the price and really wanted to buy it. She said should leeave too far to come but was willing to pay by PayPal and send a carrier.
I really don't think this person is a serious buyer and was only a hoax.
be carefull
