i just got a call from this number myself, but i looked it up on google and it turns out to be scam. they say i was approved forup to 5000. i got in one like this before and lost over 2300. please people turn these people in. i work hard for my money just like you do, dont get caught like i did.
I just received a call from a private number. stating I was selected I will be receiving a 6,700 Government. Grant which I do not. Have to pay back. I was told I vefrify my name and address which he did, and gave me an approval # AD2122, I was given this number 201-688-7114 and was told to wait 5 minutes to call and ask for Mark Huston. SCAM!!!
I got the same call ....6700 grant because I paid my taxes and never filed for bankruptcy. ....it was from a man with an Indian accemt....they called 3 times between last night and today....said they would send the check in the mail within 24 hrs and that I would have to call Steve Williams for him to release the money....now if it's a government grant why do I have to call to release it....he said it's a one time only and I could never revive this grant again. .....crazy....I am not stupid....gave me a grant Id number and everything. ....These people are crazy.....money sounds nice but jail isnt.....
Yeah I got the same call. They are Indian or something. Said I have to go to Money Gram within 10 - 15 minutes and pay $250 to register my name with the federal bank of new York. And using what number? The code they gave me and told me the $250 I pay won't be paid to them it will be refundable and I could take it out after I collect my $6,700. So why do I need $250 if it's still mine? Why can't I just pay a dollar or $5 ? These guys would make a ton if it was a lower amount. Lol
