Just got stopped yesterday and the girl that approached me was extremely uneducated and rude - as well as persistent to the extent that I gave her my # to get her out the way because I thought if anything, i could always ignore the call ... The calls already started ringing. The guy wasnt too rude, although reading these posts from everyone is making me pretty nervous about this whole siuation!
I forgot to mention one observation. Once they told me they are a talent development company, I just don't see what talent they plan to develop out of my kids as young as they are, maybe they can teach my son to blow really really big snot bubbles for pictures. Don't pay attention to these people, you shouldn't have to spend money to get your 9 month old "developed" for the industry, especially since a licensed talent agency will always do it for free.
They approached us at the Devils vs. Penguins game and we reluctantly gave them our information. When I picked up there was noone on the line. Not sure why you call and hang up!?!
Tonight my family is at the Nets game. A grown man approached my daughter as she exited the ladies room telling her that she had "a great body and he wanted to make her a "Model." For those who don't know. legitimate modeling agencies don't hunt net games to find the next top model and my daughter is only 12 years old. Extremely inappropriate language for a grown man to a young girl. He identified himself as Industry Model & Talent.
