They keep calling me and I have never answered the phone, nor never left my number to call me at. I really wish there was a way to block a number on the iphone, or with AT&T. And so to fix things myself, I finally had to create a silent ring tone and add the number to my contact list and set the special ring tone for that contact to SILENT. And so they can call all they want I simpy will never hear the phone ring.
I started getting calls from this number yesterday! This morning between 9 am and 2 pm they have called me FIFTEEN times. Who are they? And why, when you call back, doesn't anyone answer? And when you request to be put on the do not call list, it just, says "thanks for calling, goodbye".., um? hello? This is pissin' me off. Does anyone know the name of the company? If so, I'd like to pursue this!
Starting yesterday I have been getting 20+ calls from these people. Today I decided they need to get the picture that they can't continue to harass me like this.
After calling back and pressing "2" to be taken off to the "do not call list" more than once and continuing to receive calls I decided to do an internet search.
After reading one of these posts I answered the call when they called back again (usually nobody is on the line) and I said "Trap... 4:10pm.. September 10th, 2009" to which a woman said my name and began her spiel. Instantly I went LIVID on this woman, and I wouldn't let her get a word in edgewise. I began screaming to her if she didn't stop calling I would call the cops. I screamed I wanted to be left alone. DO YOU UNDERSTAND ME? I could tell she was trying to get me to talk or whatever but i continued to scream at here DO NOT CALL ME. I DON'T WANT TO BE CALLED. DO YOU UNDERSTAND? I then screamed THANK YOU and hung up. So far so good.
If that doesn't work, I will have this number blocked from calling me.
The thing is I remember almost wanting to sign up for Google Ads but I realized it was a scam and never signed up. I just wonder how they got my number when I never signed up or sent any information.
The point is: Don't reason with these people. Get livid and let them know you don't want their calls. It's obviously a scam or something.
So far so good, and it's been almost twenty minutes. I will post again if they call me back.
This is a scam. http://www.reviewopedia.com/google-home-business-kit.htm
It seems my wife gave her phone number on the internet to these people and today they got hold of her and she gave her credit card information. It is very upsetting, but true. I am canceling my card now.
