This number has been calling BOTH my cell phone & my "home phone" (which is magic jack and UNLISTED!) - Well today, the person must have not been paying attention because they left me a voice mail saying "<my name>.....Hello?....<my name>, you there?....hello, <my name>...." this went on for like 45 seconds LOL! It was a females voice, she sounded as if she were in her 40s?...with an asian accent. I called the # back but it just says "thank you for calling the customer service department, if you'd like to speak with an available representative, press 1. if you'd like to add your number to our do not call list press 2. To end this call press *"...First off, I pressed 2....and it claims my number is now added to their do not call list (we shall see?!)....then I thought "I wonder what this place is?!" So I called again, this time I pressed 1 to talk to someone.... and it said "we're sorry but nobody is available to answer your call, please select a different option from the main menu" -- you'd think if this place was LEGITIMATE they wouldn't want to miss your call and have a voicemail option?.... Wish I could find out WHO it is, just a bunch of sites complaining about not knowing who it is and nobody speaks when the call is answered LOL!
I have a solution. I found something like this, called Regional Assett Management Solutions. Well they would call people and try to collect debt, and people didn't even have a debt, and so forth.. I actually did, paid and no calls back... but I believe that was a scam. I still believe I have a letter from them threatening to prosecute, and I raised heck with those folks. I asked if they were accredited with BBB and they hung up. So I advise you ask them if they are a business with BBB, and/or record the calls. Tell them the next time you will seek legal options at your disposal for a violation of US Federal Law/local laws regarding phone harassment. That is the only way it will stop.
I am also getting these annoying calls. They call hang up then a few minutes later an "unknown number" calls and hangs up after 1/2 a ring then a few minutes later the 201 calls again. Thinking about answering and saying this number is for official business only or something like that.
These idiots do not understand no. They keep calling and if you hang up after saying no they call back and block their number- some sound like they can barely speak english.
