One of my employees recently talked with individuals at this company that uses deceptive sales phone sales practices. Unbeknownst to the employee, they said he authorized the purchase. I did not provide a PO, and the employee is not an authorized buyer. The product is very expensive and shipping charges are outrageous. They have a restocking fee and will not authorize a return of the product. So I guess I need to call the FTC as per the below post.
If this company shipped product, not ordered by an authorized person, are we obligated to pay their invoice of $469.50 for 2 5-gallon pails of degreaser plus $99.50 for shipping? Filed a complaint with BBB in NJ, but a lot of good that will be.
Don't pay [***] they won't do anything they can't, but continue to call. They don't have a legal leg to stand on. They wouldn't dare to step into a court room. This would only bring out into the open the crooked [***] that they pull daily. Their legal department consists of a liar who calls himself Don Turner. Most of the employees there are drunks, dopers, and ex-cons. KEEP YOUR MONEY AND THE PRODUCT. They want you to pay the shipping to send it back plus the original shipping costs and restocking fees.
