when this mumber calls save it to your phone contact list. then create a ring tone of dead silence. allocate that ringtone for that contact and when they call again you wont even hear it. i named that contact as DONT ANSWER in my contact list. this way it doesnt bother me.

I believe that it is a representative from Kaplan College. Ever since i got online to just see what they offer I have been getting these calls, when I finally got ahold of a person on the phone (from a supposed different number) the other calls have stopped, until he called and I told him I was not interested...the calls started up again, if i get ahold of him I am going to get his name (full)...department...and hus supervisors name, and file a report for harrasment, if there is a will there is a way. Have any of you looked into colleg on line?..that may be your answer.
I have just recieved 6 calls from this number in the last 30min. I too picked up out of fustration and no one was there. I called back blocking my number and it says the number is no longer in service. My caller id says " NEW JERSEY"..
So far this number has called me over 10 times in the past 3 hours, but the calls have picked up in the last 10 min!!
Every day I have at least 6 numbers calling here and its pissing me off, especially when I tell them they have the wrong number! If I dont know the number I aint picking up!
SAME HERE AS EVERYONE. 201-796-8854 STARTED CALLING ME TODAY (8/06/10). I "IGNORE" THE CALL AND END IT. BUT, IT CALLS ME RIGHT BACK. I ALSO TRIED CALLING THE NUMBER BACK FROM A LAND LINE AND IT GIVES THE SAME MESSAGE AS ABOVE, "REACHED A # THAT'S BEEN DISCONNECTED OR NO LONGER IN SERVICE" AND YET...IT'S CALLING US! BIZARRE! ANYWAY, SUGGESTION TO DO AS I ALWAYS DO WITH "CRAP CALLS" - TEMPORARILY SAVE THE NUMBER IN YOUR "CONTACTS/ADDRESS BOOK" ON YOUR CELL. THEN "EDIT IT" - TITLE IT "CRAP CALL" (OR THE LIKE) - WHILE YOU ARE IN "EDIT", ASSIGN A "RINGTONE" TO IT - BUT SELECT "MUTE". THEY MAY KEEP CALLING BUT YOU DON'T HAVE TO HEAR THEM! GOOD LUCK EVERYONE!
