when this mumber calls save it to your phone contact list. then create a ring tone of dead silence. allocate that ringtone for that contact and when they call again you wont even hear it. i named that contact as DONT ANSWER in my contact list. this way it doesnt bother me.
This thread isn't particularly useful because no one has figured-out for sure where the calls are coming from. Some other threads are much more helpful.
My introduction to this site, I learned that the caller was a bank where Michael the Deadbeat had an over-due car loan. I used that information to talk to them rationally and get the calls stopped. Other threads have revealed other callers as fake charities, fake bill collectors and other scam artists. People have posted that by reading about a number they were saved from being scammed.
This is wierd...same thing....3 calls in the last hour from this number. I'm in California and, as far as I know, have never encountered this before. My phone is a business cell phone.
My wife has been getting the same calls on her cell. They don't leave a message and when she answers now one is their. Call backs get the non-working number messgae
This company is using this number and numbers such as :201-564-4171 201-345-8552 and many more. They call me up to 10 times a day with all 3 of these numbers and no one appears on the phone. Messages are different. Once all you can hear is someone in the background and today I had a man and a woman( with an indian accent) say my first name, saying hello are you there, hello, hello and its my dang answering machine! Who the heck are these idiots?? I have picked up the phone on several occassions and cussed them out and I have blocked them repeatedly but to no avail..They need to leave me alone! They call from 8am to 10pm every day!!!
