This scammer calls numbers on the national do not call registry in violation of the Telephone Consumer Protection Act. They further violate the TCPA by not having an operator on the line when the phone is answered, and then further by playing a recording without an operator on the line. Once there is an operator on the line, they further violate the TCPA by refusing to provide a phone number or address when asked. The recording they play is advertising free panic/emergency notification buttons for senior citizens. They demonstrate that this is not a legitimate offering through their violations of the TCPA and by not knowing whether they are contacting seniors or not, and not knowing if the people they are contacting are even in an eligible area or a service area. This is clearly a scam. Do not provide these scammers with any personal information.
Recording of telemarketing attempt for Medical Alert System. Press 1 to talk to operator press 5 to be removed. Pressing 5 seems about as useful as Pressing 1. Just get hung up on when asked to be removed.
