They have called me about 20 x in the last few days. I asked them to please stop calling and the man (Indian accent) yelled at me saying, "I will not stop calling you". Telling me I have been chosen for a free grant.
they called me and said the same thing. the guy was like take down my email miss and he spelled it out as i want to [***] you i was like what the hell! its scarry and disturbing
I work for the Department of Education and this person has called me 6 times within the last 2 minutes. I finally answered and he told me he could get me free grant money. I told him that I worked for the DOE in the loan department and all grants are free unless you do not follow certain obligations. He stated f--- me, and he hung up. Phone is still ringing as I type.
They just called. A man with a thick med-eastern accent was on the line. He said he was working for the "ewe S govorment" and has information about the "drant" I was award. I told him to remove my name and that I knew it was a scam also I was contacting the police. The local cops can't do much but I want them to know I will report it. Don't answer and don't give them ANY personal information.
Male with Indian/Middle Eastern accent repeatedly calls saying he is with the US Government. He is quite rude and says ":I want to talk to you about why you are not paying your bills." I have no debt so there is no reason for any such call and if our government has set up an offshore call center to harass citizens then this country is in worse shape than I thought. Same caller has also appeared as "no caller ID" and "Unknown number." Would love to know how they got my cell phone number!
