I got this call today around 11:50 am central time. I didnt answer, but called back right away and no one picked up. I have also got calls from a 201-7641 in the past(now 3 times). They always hang up.
They have called me several times in the past week. I never answer....they never leave a message. I finally called the number back today. After 5 rings I hear what sounds like someone picking up. Then I hear what sounds like them hanging up. I stay on the line....they pick back up. I then hear the sound them dialing a phone number. Obviously not knowing I was still on the line. This went on for about 5 mins...them hanging up...picking back up...trying to call a number...then hanging up again. There has to be some sort of motive behind them calling. This was my cell phone as well...sounds like they have obtained a list of cell phone #'s. What their goal is I have no idea.
Same here ... I picked up and they didn't say a word. Could they be trying to just gather data on phones that are legit to start a big calling campaign or something?
