This is apparently Express/Medco pharmacy. My insurance carrier has some of my meds with them for mail/home delivery. The first time scripts of mine were filled by them it took six weeks. It seems Express Scripts took over Medco and they are having some operational problems. If your insurance lists Express or Medco and you feel uncomfortable speaking to someone who calls, look up the contact information (indicated by your insurance or by a placed order) and call them directly yourself. I had to chase Express down to get my order straightened out. They NEVER returned my call, I had to continue calling them. I am almost afraid not to answer one of their calls wondering "Have they screwed up again"?
This is a call center calling for MEDCO. They call trying to get me use mail order instead of going through my local CVS for my 90 day supplies of coronary meds because it will save money for them and me. If your or your employer provided prescription plan is serviced by MEDCO they are allowed to call, and good luck trying to get them to stop. These calls are legal under DNC list rules if you use their service. I have told them repeatedly that I prefer to use the local pharmacy, but every few months this call center in North Jersey will call 5 or 6 times over a two week period (if you don't answer) trying to see if I'll switch to mail order. So the choice is yours, answer and tell them yes/no or put up with this call center's techniques and dropped calls. If your prescription plan is not serviced by MEDCO tell them so and to remove your phone number. Whenever I see this number or any 201 area code number I just pick up and hang up.
201-891-1029 called me, left no message. I called back and informed the person I talked to I would be calling my actual insurance company and reporting the number to MY REAL Insurance!!!!

Received call from 201-891-1029. Caller ID said Unknown Name.
Didn’t answer. A woman left VM msg. Didn’t leave her name. I recorded it on my camera. She sounded very professional, but she spoke very quickly and was difficult to understand. Had to rewind several times to hear what she said. I put ? where I still couldn’t make it out.
“Hi, this message is for (name) from Express Scripts. We’re the company that manages your prescription benefits for the ? exchange of Colorado. We’re trying to contact you to ? the information regarding a recent prescription and will continue to try to contact you over the next several days. If it’s more convenient for YOU, we can be reached from 9AM to 7PM ET Mon thru Fri and Saturdays from 10AM to 4PM ET by calling 1-866-544-6987. Thank you.”
I am very suspect since the Caller ID said Unknown Name and she didn’t state her name. I also googled and other sites said it was Medco. The 866 number was also reported as both Medco and Express Scripts on different sites. Someone on Twitter said they were Phishing. Most likely.
The number 201-891-1029 is Express Scripts. Call the number yourself if you do not believe it. The recording that comes on says "Welcome to Express Scripts.....) They work with various insurance companies IE Cigna.
