I've been getting calls from this number at least 10 times per day for the last week... to my TextFree number, which is incredibly annoying. I don't know how they'd even got a hold of my TextFree number in the first place since I only text my friends on it, and I don't even have it memorized so it's not like I've left it as my contact information on any websites. I tried calling them from my regular phone number and it's like what everyone else has said - I get three stupid options: (1) talk to a CSR (2) remove my number from the list (3) or hang up.
In case anyone else has tried options 2 or 3... they result in the same thing - you get disconnected. And forget about talking to a CSR because all of their representatives (my guess is one or, more likely, zero) are busy. Whoever came up with this automated phone harassment deserves to die 1000 deaths.
They just called again. I could not understand the caller. There was a lot of noise in the background, other people talking on the phone it sounded like. Anyway, they said if was in response to my inquiry. I've not made any inquiries other than to job seeking sites (which is causing a lot of spam and phone calls) and asked them to please remove my number. We'll see! The name was US and sounded like Calvary??? I don't know.
This number will just call and nothing will be said. It says on the caller ID it is from New Jersey but that is it. There is not ever a message left on who it is.
