A magistrate?? Come on, that isn't terminology we use. And why call my husbands cell phone the day before with the same threat? What do they want? It was a recording.
It's the IRS SCAM. Just block the number and forget about it. It's a bunch of thieves in India and/or Pakistan. Here's some info and a news story about 5 US thieves who were helping the Indian scammers but were caught.

Got the same robocall today.... My apologies to the REAL Kevin Mason... So "Fake Kevin"... Send me a letter. I mean you have my phone number, surely you know where I live! I'll have my attorney meet you, and show you that I don't owe ONE CENT to the IRS. I keep EXCELLENT records and always request a copy of my IRS statement a few months after Tax Season, so.... Sod off!
