See calls for 201-620-6929. I answered this 0004 #, it was a call center, non-native english speaker lady. Wanted ot talk to our Admin. Nope, not gonna happen. I told her to call back 5pm, which is an hour after we close...... HE HE HE HE
Call came in on November 28, 2011. I see from the call logs that they have called frequently over the last two months. Never left a message - so it is a robo-call which will go to a sales person once connected. Upon research I found it is Comodo trying to sell me an SSL certificate for my website.
Caller left a voice message. Identified themselves as calling from a company named Comodo. Wanted to discuss our web security certificate (from a different vendor) that is expiring next month. Knew exactly what certificate we had. Offered to save us money.
1) Spidering websites to gather information about security certificates is low behaviour.
2) Unsolicited cold-calling is low behaviour.
The company's motto (comodo.com) is "Creating Trust Online". I laughed.
Apparently they have done this before and in that case followed up with an unsolicited "scare tactic" e-mail: http://blog.loftninjas.org/2009/03/12/comodo-is-shady/
