It sounded like a telemarketing "boiler room". From the comments here, I think they must do contract work for lots of companies.
The one I got tonight (after business hours, at that) was an Indian sounding guy trying to sell credit card processing services.
They were told to take my number off their list, for as much good as that will do.
Wanted to speak to owner, I am the owner. When asked whos calling, they wouldnt provide me with information. They asked for the owner, I once again asked whats this in regards to, then the foreign speaking male hung up.
