This alleged number has called here five times so far ( 5:55, 7:19, 7:31, 7:49, 7:56 PM Eastern). I guess it is safe to assume that this is a wannabe tech support operation. I realize they are desperate to be my friend, but their calls keep getting blocked. I sure hope that hasn't left them in tears.
All kidding aside, I am not all that surprised that they have made several attempts to call and I wouldn't surprised to see them make even more calls on top of this. The problem with these telemaggoters is that they are coming from overseas and that makes impossible take any kind of action against them unless the country of origin is willing to get involved and I am not getting my hopes up for that one.
No, they want to get into your computer and take it over making changes or causing you to have to purchase some type of software to clear up their software that they will install to mess up your files. Or they're going to steal passwords, social security information and anything that will advance their interests. NEVER EVER let anyone into your computer that you don't know personally!!!!
I am aware of how these tech support telemaggoters operate. Unfortunately there are people that believe these calls are legitimate. Either way I have no interest in talking to unknown callers. Besides most of them are blocked automatically since they are robocalls.
If you do decide to answer, talk right over them while they're talking... it's annoying to them and they won't be able to get a word in otherwise and they will hang up. Or just answer and leave the line open without talking..... FUN, FUN, FUN
