Same deal, as above, saying They were with a Federal grant Program, that would allow me to pay off more than $10,000.00 in School Loans, but i had to call back to a specific phone #, by Tomorrow.
This number just called me, said his name was john. when I asked to not be on the call list he got very rude then said he wanted to fu** me !? Oh my God who are these people ?! He said he was from some federal corporation first. RED FLAG
IRS scam. Calls originate in India and Pakistan. Callers who find their scams aren't working sometimes indulge in sexually aggressive talk. Ignore and block any calls fro 202 area code. You might have to block others.
Called saying the federal government wanted to offer me a grant for having certain qualifications like paying taxes and not being imprisoned or filing for bankruptcy... Riiiiiight. They're fishing for verification information or bank account information.
