I've gotten 2 calls from 202-124-2344. Both times I get 2 beeps (a few seconds apart) and then the call drops. I have no idea how they got my number. When I redial the number, I get a busy tone.
Claim to be from Dell. Scam. Trying to gain remote access to your computer. They have called from several different numbers and locations, TX FL, UK....block them but they keep calling from different numbers. They know my name, phone # and what kind of computer I have.
They use Good Verizon numbers to use for their id. They have mine right now. I am getting 19 to 29 calls a day from other Verizon customers telling me they are returning my call. They are using an app called spoofed caller id. I called Verizon and FCC. Verizon said all I can do is change my number. I will not do that. Any number can be used. Other people that this has happened to said they move on to a different number sooner or later...not that I would wish this on my worst enemy! They also know if they are identified as a Verizon number people will answer whereas you would not answer a weird number. Did I mention how much I hate a scammers?
Get the same number calling me too, it Microsoft, your computer is sending a message about a hacker, I play with them, no computer,but I have an IPad does that count, then he gives me an ip number, will it never end. Going to block this number
