I've received a call from 202-124-2344. A man with a heavy Indian accent came on and asked for someone that did not live here. I said wrong number. He changed the name to my step-dad. I told him he wasn't here. I asked for his name and he refused. He stated that it was a business phone call. I asked what company he was with and he refused again. I told him to stop calling. I left the house and came back to 17x missed calls all from this number. This is a SCAM!
They tried to trick me into installing Team Viewer and giving them remote control. I finally stopped them after giving my bank username and password to them. That was far enough.
i-Yogi called and insisted I get a refund. I already got it from the credit card company and didn't want their money. They kept insisting that I give access to my computer so they could process the refund.
I'm not that stupid.
I have received countless calls like this one from various numbers. They want to have remote access to my computer so they can fix it for me. Such nice people! I love to lead them on...they get so mad when they realize the scammer just got scammed.
