I just got two calls from this number and answered the second time.. They asked for the owner of the household and I told them they weren't home (which they are not) and asked of they would like to leave a message. They told me " tell them to go f$ck themselves" and when I said "what did you say?!" They told me I am going to hell!
Tha called stating that our computer was downloading things that were bad to the hard drive.I believe this was a pfishing call to defraud us so don't believe them. and remember not to give any infos!
Received a call from 202-156-6666 just now stating that they were from Microsoft and my computer was downloading stuff that would crash my computer. They wanted me to tell them information about my computer and I argued with a heavily accented man that kept repeating that he was from Microsoft. I asked for a number to call him back to verify. He got very upset with me stating I did not want his help and the call was ended.
I also have received numerous calls from 202-156-6666. Four yesterday alone and one just now. Today I actually spoke with a foreign accented person also claiming to represent Microsoft and regarding my computer. He hung up on me when I told him I have turned their number in to the do not call registry and complained. I have tried to call the number back and I get a recorded message "not a valid number". This is ridiculous. I have a seriously ill daughter that's hospitalized and don't need this b.s. Any suggestions of what I can do that I haven't already done?
Hi-I have joined the party. So far have received 11 or 12 calls today. I don't answer them now but when I did I heard one word I could not understand. Called the police and they knew nothing. Called the operator and she said it might be a fax but we all know it is from India. Bad news. Will turn off the phone when we go to bed.
Bad news is, I am elderly and this is not good for my heart.
