Fraudulent calls stating IRS has filed law suit - looking to help with attorney when I advised him this area code 202 was fraude and I was reporting to IRS he swore at me and disconected call.
I just received this call. I didn't answer it so it went to my answering machine and all I got was a continuous beeping sounds. So, I have blocked the call and they have tried calling me 6 times within a seconds apart!!!
This moron called yesterday and left a largely unintelligible garbled message. He can't speak English well enough to even say the phone number. He had what I think was an Indian accent. After listening several times, I finally got most of it. Said his name was ?xxx Martin "from the IRS, the Internal Revenue Service Department", "Department" - really? Idiot. No such thing. He wanted me or my attorney of record to return the call, "extremely time sensitive", "do not try to disregard this message", "call as soon as possible before an illegal allegation takes place". Illegal? The only think illegal is this scumbag leaving threatening messages on peoples telephones. He finished the call by saying "Goodbye and take care". Take care? Who is writing these scripts??? You just can't find good help these days.
