I got a call from this number, saying they was from the Government, and I have a grant of $7 thousand dollars , they ask me to verify my address so I did but after that I asked them to send me a statement so I can give the paper to me my lawyer and they told me they couldn't do that, because they do not work like that, so I hung up on them but later ( as I was hanging up I could hear him saying Hello Hello ).
I just got the same call and the guy gave me a number (BR0973) and told me to call this # (202) 559-7936 and ask for Russel Jones As I love playing along I did just that.
He asked me how i would like the $7.000 sent to me an I told him money grant, he said he had to get the info I needed for money grant and put me on hold, when he came back on the line he told me in order to receive the $7000.00 because it's a grant I needed to buy the Green Dot card for $256.00 then call him back with the info and that the $7000.00 would be available for me to receive within 5 min after I call him back with the info. So I called him back 30 min latter and told him I have the Green dot card for $256.00☺ He then told me to scratch the grey area off the back and give him the #, I then asked him why he needed the # and he said he needed to verify that I purchased the card for $256.00 I told him I wouldn't give him the # until the $7000 money gram came threw for me, and I said if I give you the # you can claim the $256.00 and I told him I'm not that stupid. and that I have been recording our phone call. Needless to say after that the line went dead.
