Caller said this was officer Bryan he had a warrant for my arrest that I need to call back immediately IRS warrant etc phone number is 2028541177

This is likely a spoofed number

I received a call from 202-224-0908 (Dt. 6/22/2016). The man in question had a heavy Southern accent and said I have an IRS warrant in my name. I asked him to call me back and called the U.S. Capitol Police (not the number this man used to contact me. Rather I called the Public Information Office). The officer I spoke to confirmed that THE US CAPITOL POLICE HAVE NOTHING TO DO WITH THE IRS AND THAT THIS IS INDEED A SCAM.

I hope people keep their heads about them and don't fall for this. Funny enough, this is a legitimate number found found on the USCP website and is a number to their Watch Commander's Office. A Watch Commander is essentially an officer who is in charge during that particular shift.

I got a call from 1(202)224-0908 as well. He said his name is Jimmy Arthur. Said he had a warrant for my arrest as IRS had issued complaints about me. He asked me to goto the nearest CVS Pharmacy and use my credit card to purchase iTunes card and tell him the numbers. He also spoke nonsense like 1000$ would be deposit and that an officer would come to the house tomorrow and hand over a cheque for that. I got a hint this is a fraud and disconnected the call. He tried to call me back 19 times. Please be aware!!

I got a call from the same guy named Jimmy Arthur. He mentioned the case ID and said he is from USCP. Then I explained him that I get many calls like these. Then he hung up. The call is from the USCP number ( spoofing)
