They will fill your mail box with requests for money. Many of these places pay their CEO millions per year, so how many $25 donations would it take to pay the CEO?
I receive calls every 1/2 hour from 202 234-3930. They will cease for a couple of weeks, and then begin again. I have them blocked on my Panasonic phone. I can block up to 20 numbers. Would you believe that still isn't enough for all he calls I receive? The other day I answered the telephone at my friend's house. It showed an 800 number. I answered it for her and used a fake voice. A mix between Chinese and Indian (the one from India). Trust me, I have nothing against the 2 groups I mentioned. This is just for an example. Well, they did not know how to answer me. They were befuddled. It evidently works, because they have not called back. It would be kind of fun, if it weren't so annoying.
i have the same problem. wish we could block more numbers. i also liked what you did when you answered your friend's phone, i've done that too. that works better than the time i kept putting 'then' on hold telling them various reasons as to why... 'my kid just dropped his bowl of chili all over the floor; the cat fell from a tree; someone's at my door, etc.' none of that worked. the person kept hanging on and resumed talking when i took the phone off hold.
