Got the same message around the same time but he said that there was warrant out for my arrest, and that I should call him as soon as possible so we could rectify the situation. Knew it was a scam when he couldn't pronounce my name (and it' not a hard name).
I received a call from 202 239 2418 yesterday. Officer Jordan Brown left me a message about a criminal investigation against me and that I needed to call him right away before he turns this over to the local authorities. I could barely understand him, but I heard something about the IRS. I called the number today and there was a message that I reached G Money or Lar Associates.
To the above, my Ronald Arthur was more inventious. He said that they can schedule a meeting with the IRS representative and in the presence of the police officer I would have to hand them the prepaid card - the only acceptable payment according to the regulation such and such. (-:. They also made a call in the process that reflected as 911 and were very proud of it. There was a talk about the arrest warrant for today too.
At least one person talked without the strong Indian accent too.
