I got the same call but I just sold my house and account has been paid in full so before I called this rude guy back I called Wellsfargo to verify if the account has been closed. Wells Fargo said that number is not theirs. When I called that Indian accent jerk back and demanded to talk the manager I told him i was not providing any information because I know my account has been paid in full and the jerk hung up on me
Just received a call from gentleman agent Williams with Indian accent. He said my remodification was in default because of back taxes and escrow and wanted $ today to save my home. I called my mortgage company and that was NOT the case! PLEASE be careful. These people are idiots and very threatening!!
This jerk just called me, at first I was like what is he talking about, wanting money now today so the legal department will stop my foreclosure. Ok.. I called my mortgage company, and spoke with them and they advised it is a scam, and asked if I could get more info from him. I just called him back to play along telling him I have 500 in cash... I am supposed to be on my way to Walmart and call him from the parking lot, not from inside the store, so I can call him to get info for money gram. I asked him if I can pay more, you can hear this jerk giggling... waiting to call him back from walmart parking lot right now . My mortgage wants to prosecute idiots like him!!!!!!
