I got a call from an Indian man said I was being investigated from IRS fraud and He proceeded to give me a harassment tone that I needed to hire a criminal attorney. And when questioned to speak to an American they got irate and started yelling at me telling me that if i did not cooperate they would be there to arrest me within the hour. I am still waiting 3 hours later.
Had a message from "Sam Watson" claiming to be with IRS tax and audit investigation. He said a "case" had been filed, and they would execute a "legal search warrant" & I would be responsible for the cost. He said to call them back ASAP. Needless to say I didn't.
Thought I'd share this slightly different angle though regarding being financially responsible for any search warrant they might execute. He never said I owed taxes (I don't), or gave any amount. Just threatened that I would have to pay for above mentioned actions if I didn't return the call.
Today 9/19/14 I received a call from "IRS".A man with a heavy indian accent told me that three "cases" had been filed against me from the audit department that I'm gonna get arrested within one hour; and that I'm gonna get to jail for six years; that I owed over $2,000 in fraud, and the total will be $15,000. I called IRS to make sure that everything is right with my taxes; It was O.K. I called back the fraud phone # 202-239-5421 and I confronted him, and he answered me, saying:
" YOU AMERICANS ARE SO STUPID !". I called the Attorney General at 503-378-4400 and I reported the harassment.
Got another call from IRS pretenders, this time from 202 239 5421. I asked him why his accent sounds so like Muslims, and does Islam and Allah teach them only jihad and terror and fraud? He got irate and started yelling in the same heavy accent, "do not dare criticize my...". I hung up. I should buy that Panasonic call blocking phone.
