Someone called saying they were sheriff asking for my social saying they would send police to my door. I called back and they began swearing. This is a fraudulant call.
I called the same # went to voice mail...Saying hello this is John Smith from the Internal Revenue Service, please leave your name and # and I'll get back with you!...I hung up the phone...I called again in 5 minutes...Spoke to an actual person and they said that I have been approved for a loan...I said what loan is this? They said a $10,000 dollar loan...I'm not sure how these people are getting my # but its getting on my nerve...
I received 11 calls today. Answered the 12th nd no name given, man had India accent, I thought he said I had applied for a loan. I told him I had not and told him not to call. He insisted, I hung up. He called right back and was angry, again I told him I had not applied for a loan and hung up. I told him I was going to report him to the FCC and his reply (stupid) that he was going to report me. To whom, who knows. He called me again. I did not answer and he called me again. These last 5 calls were within 5 minutes. I did fill out a complaint to the FCC. Then I received a call from a different number and was same kind of accent but asking if I wanted a loan. Told him I didn't need one. He hung up. It amazes me that people will fall for the line they are given as it is very clear, these callers are scammers.
I received 2 calls from this number saying that they are going to arrest me , either from my house or place of employment. The person stated his name is Ofificer David Johnson, with the federal grant of investigation and that there was a case under my name. Its a big fraud., He did not state why there was a legal case under my name.
i just received a call from this number they stated that i owed $252.00 for payday loan money and wanted me to wired $252.00 by 7:00pm today to a Gwendolyn Bernhard in Lakeworth, FL. They called me back with my address and stated they were sending me documents to wired the money. I told them i just look their number up and this was fraud, he said bye and hang the phone up. I am going to report this number to the authorities.
