just got a call as well thnx for verifying. I mean it was an indian guy calling himself alex smith. first red flag for me

I got a call from 202-239-6259 and he said his name was Alex Smith and I googled the number while talking to him and then cussed him out and have been filing fbi reports and doing everything I can to take him down legally.

Pretty much impossible to take them down since they are located in either India or Pakistan.  You should make a report however.

We got this call today. It's the second time they have tried it with us. I reported it both times.

I got a call from this number too.  The caller claimed he was John Marshall from the IRS.  He had a very heavy accent and was rude when I asked if it was a prank call.  He got upset and said "You think this is a prank, you will come to know."  He hung up as I was asking for his supervisor and the telephone number he was calling from.  I will report this as well.  I heard a call center in the background.
