I received the same phone call like the person from Florida and the person said that he's from the Criminal Investigation Department and told me that i committed fraud on my taxes. I owe $1,250.
I am getting FED UP with all these phones calls from the IRS scammers.Today I received a call from 202-239-6513 from a "Mardi Cooper" who had a very thick Asian/Chinese accent. Caller left a message on my answering machine. He claimed he is calling from the Criminal Investigation Department and that I committed some fraud on my taxes. I was to call him back urgently.
I am sick and tired of these IRS scammers, something has to be done soon!! Yesterday I got a call from 415-251-6162 another IRS Scammer. I just called back 202-239-6513 and 415-251-6162 and told the person who answered the call that I knew that they were not from the IRS and I was going to report them/the number to the FBI, my local police, my state attorney, the IRS and the MagicJack company and they are to cease and desist immediately from calling me and that was their final warning.

We received the same message from this caller with a thick asian accent telling us that my mother owe the IRS some money and asking if police had come to our house to arrest her. This needs to stop!
