I received the same phone call like the person from Florida and the person said that he's from the Criminal Investigation Department and told me that i committed fraud on my taxes. I owe $1,250.
I received a call and a message from 202-239-6513 from the criminal investigation dept. on fraud on my taxes. The number is a ymax landline and I know that it is a magic jack number. Also, the person calling had a foreign accent which was difficult to understand. I saved the message to hear it again and noticed that the sound in the background had other people talking so I assumed that it was a scam. Shame on you people.
