Just received a call on my cell phone said he was Steve Wilson, an IRS Officer and that i would be served a legal affidavit today and that I should have my lawyer at my home. I file my taxes and pay plenty every year. This is nuts that we should have to deal with this crap.
An Indian accent man left a message on my voice mail. He said he was calling from the State Department and the police would be at my home to arrest me. You could barely understand him. I called and left him a message stating that if he called me again; I would be calling the police department in my city and my State Attorney General's office.
Called the guy back. He said, in his heavy foreign accent, this is an urgent matter, a warrant was against me, settle now. I could not understand much of his threats or reasons. Not only his accent made it difficult to understand him, there was this back ground noise and shouts. I heard "Abdollah, Abdollah" and "Ahmad" and a language mixed with English that I couldn't understand. Sounds like Moslems gang somewhere trying to scam people.
My dad got a call from this number 202-239-6791 and it was a female she left a message saying that she was An officer from the IRS state federal and My dad need to pay taxes that was not filed from last year or he was going to go to jail and blah blah so I ended calling back and they didn't pick up so a male called me back so I told him straight up how come my dad never received a letter or and email regarding this matter and hw was like well he need to pay latest tomorrow morning if he doesn't we are going to take over his house and his credit cards and I'm like well will see about that! I'm going to call the IRS first thing tomorrow and I hanged up I knew it was a lie because I called them around 8pm yesterday and The IRS will not pick up or return a call that late or that quick lol !
